Founded in 2012 as a social enterprise, Tsaa Laya began as a livelihood initiative supporting communities relocated following a natural disaster. What started as a community project has grown into a premium Filipino herbal tea brand connecting local farmers and communities with wider markets. 

The name itself reflects that mission: “Tsaa” means tea and “Laya” means freedom, representing the brand’s belief in tea as a way to create economic opportunity.
